North Plains Cemetery

The North Plains Cemetery Association will hold a Rummage and Bake Sale May 19th and 20th at the North Plains church annex. All of the proceeds will be used for the maintenance and improvement of the Cemetery. If you have a treasure that you would like to donate to this please bring it to the North Plains Church (corner of Olmstead and Scheaffer Rds.) between 2:00 and 4:00 PM on May 17th.

1800's Organ

Wilma Ackerson playing an old 1800s organ (her favorite item in the museum) that was donated by an area family, as was many of the other items in the museum. The story behind the organ was that it went from the Lyons/Muir area to California by sea around South America and back by railroad.
